After coming out of the spiritual closet in her mid-20s, Melanie spent over 20 years studying and gaining certifications across Tarot, Reiki, Alternative Counselling, and Family Constellations. In 2017, she launched The Velvet Chair—recognising the vital need for alternative therapies as practical tools for transformation.
As a veteran "Tapper," Melanie famously brought EFT into mainstream creative businesses& corporate spaces, film production companies, and advertising agencies to help teams manage stress and burnout.
