A Creative Producer turned Holistic Practitioner, MelO has worked with many people from all walks of life - and their pets. You can call her an Intuitive Mentor, Tapper, Healer or just Magical MelO. Well-known for her positive energy, quirky sense of humour, intuitive wizardry, calming nature and deeply-insightful way of helping folks get a real understanding of themselves and where they are at. First and foremost Melanie is Clairsentient✨ and applies this ability into whatever medium she is working with or project she is working on.

After coming out of the spiritual closet in her mid 20’s and an immediate need to learn how to self-manage and self-heal, MelO began studying and experiencing every healing modality possible over 20 years gaining certifications and training in Alternative Counselling, Tarot, Reiki, EFT Tapping, Family Constellations, Mediumship and Lightworking to then start her business The Velvet Chair in 2017 - recognising the increasing need for alternative therapies to be used as tools to get people back on-track and moving forward again.

As a long-time ‘Tapper’ for her own mental, physical and emotional health, MelO introduced Tapping to (her) mainstream during the pandemic. Directly helping folks deal with unforeseen change, anxiety, stress and loss of motivation. She hosted weekly live group Tappings and 1-on-1 zoom sessions for individuals, families and businesses including Creative Advertising Agencies, Film Production Companies, Hairdressers and Corporates from 2-40 people.

Forever evolving, I create healing approaches that deal with what’s happening in the NOW, drawing on internal navigation, intuition, channelling and aligning with like-minded partners.

I am currently offering just Readings at Merchants of Mostyn in Castlemaine, which are exclusive ‘Tarot & Tap’ sessions to my new community. I am thoroughly enjoying working at MoM with Nicola and we are working on introducing workshops in 2025 to teach beginners Tarot and EFT Tapping techniques.
